NOT MINE!
hehe...like I said it is not mine. I got it off of the internet. But it does look kinda nice. I wonder if I could get a Bulk Buy for this item? I know mitch sells them but we could get a cheaper price if we got together and asked AEM to give us a good deal for buying 10 of them. Anyone Interested?

Wow that's much different than I expected!
I thought it'd be very short. That actually curves down into a colder area. It practically is a CAI. Somebody get a price. I think Mitch has it for $200. I'm definitely in for a group buy.

Just so you know, Modacar ( http://www.modacar.com ) has it for $185 and Contemporary Motorsports ( http://www.contemporarymotorsport.com ) has it for $187. I will be getting mine from one of them.

WHY??? We might be able to get it cheaper if we go in together on a bulk buy! If we order enough from AEM then they will give a great deal hopefully! I am going to wait to see what kinda price I can get first. I will call AEM Tuesday, and ask what kinda deal we can get. How many people do we have? Or how many can we get?

Uhh..dont forget you can get group buys through me as well. Anytime we get enough orders together at one time, i can get the prices cheaper (like I did on the Injen CAI for the first group of orders) And normally most of the bigger companies wont do group buys (they all require dealer orders...I cant even order through AEM, I have to order through an authorized AEM dist.) Most of the companies dont sell their product to individuals. So, if you are realy interested in doing a group buy, let me know. Just guessing, if we get 10 orders together, I can probably do it for 180.00 (assuming the prices havent changed since AEM originally told me back during Production). So, if you really want to do it, let me know. I'll call tomorrow & get a better idea on the price.

The main difference is the fact that the AEM is a short ram (meaning it still sucks its air out of the hot engine bay) while the Injen is a cold air intake which takes its air out of the wheelwell where the air comes from the road. By adding a little slit to that skirt, you can get better air flow too. Now, I havent actually seen the AEM short ram yet but it at least looks like its a semi Cold air intake (it goes towards that hole in the wheel well so it may get some cooler air if you cut a hole in the skirt) but I think its going to be a solid product. I plan on getting one in & trying it out sometime later. For now, I love the Injen. I was more impressed with it than I expected to be before I had it! They did a great job.

from those pics looks like the AEM short ram, sits down infront of the tranny, and so, to the left of the cold air chamber. Mind you, there is still ok air flow down there, add tubing and/or a heatshield and your in business. just my .02 cents
