DGM PU Lip Test Fit & Pic

Well, I got the DGM front lip for my xmas gift to myself.
I brought it in to work today, since I have to rotate my tires and all that good stuff.

Ignore the ill fitment, I have not put on the double sided tape or the 2 screws that came w/it yet.

your gonna paint the sides and leave the center black?
that would have a nice look to it, could possibly make it "look" like a whole new front bumper.

looks real good tho, i like!

I wonder what painting the center of the stock bumper on a protege would look like if only the middle "grill" part of the bumper were painted...

cant wait to see how it turns out, I WANT PICS!!, lol...no rush or anything but..HURRY UP!

Quick question.

Are you just wanting it to be painted?

or are you going for the "make it blend in" body kit look?

just ccurious b/c it looks like some of those edges would be difficult to get perfect.

Looks good man, but, get it painted before I get back or I'll have to slap you. I'm not a big fan of the unpainted body kit look.

LOL.
GhettoPro - Painted for sure...molded would be a bonus. But, I'd have some other things to do like shave the rear door handles, the roof antenna and get the holes filled on the trunk (I can get the FAMILIA badge and double side tape it)...if I wanted to.
KrayzieFox - I'm being extremely careful.
Miller - Painting it cost dollars....I could do it myself*.

*Hmmmmmmm........Spring time poor-ject.

Those bumpers can be pretty hard to keep in one piece..

I got a buddy who has a 96 Honda Accord on some black 17's with chrome lips

Full body kit..well..used to be....He put an air-rod system on his car, he crucnhes side skirt literly when he drops it he can be driving down the road and slam it and you see sparks fly from the extra metal on his dual exhuast...

his front bumper is a little scard...but his rear bumper and I quote what he said "its in about 23 pieces"

so...yeah..you SHOULD be fine unless you do an air bag system...

It looks really nice now that I have it properly attached. I drove my buddy to Best Buy last night and some guy was walking in w/his gf and they were both rubbernecking pretty hard.
