Wooo wee!!! This is a big post with lots of pictures... so... yeah. Beware. LOL

Here are some pictures of my car. I have no pictures of the car before I got the windows tinted. Well, I lie. I have pictures of the car after my first accident without the tint on. LOL. Here is what the accident left my car looking like. Getting hit at 55mph by a Suburban hurts like hell!

Then I got it fixed, and the windows tinted. This is it's fixed ***.




Things were lookin' up for this little carcar!! By trying to avoid running over a cat that had ran under my car while I was backing out.. I hit my side mirror. I was paying more attention to the cat, then my car. >sigh<



(Whoa, you can see my hand! LOL... I need to clean the mirrors now that it's not so hot and sunny out. Damn hard water.)

I didn't think that the mirror was TOO too bad, so I held out until I could order the mirrors that can be painted to match the car (which I just ordered 30 minutes ago). Then... a Honda came along and slammed into my front bumper from the driver's side.






But all in all I'd say that my car still looks kind of good. LOL From the right angle.

coz i always wondered why some of the cars on this site had like a long nose front bumper...

and i aint seen one of em here in aus...

yeah its a stock front bumper.

 

It's a '00. And yep, that's the original stock bumper.

 

That's what everyone says. The autobody place wasn't sure if they thought it should be totaled or not, until they got the car to the frame. The frame wasn't even touched. They said that if the frame had been bent, they would have to total it.. but nope... No damage.

I still want a license plate frame that says "SUV's are pains in the ***." LOL. It's funny to me! Or a pain in the neck. Considering I'm permenantly screwed up.

I would consider it good luck, my friend lost her car from a similar accident. I was pissed cause it had just got painted after i built it and did the body work. Now it sits in some junk yard for capt. no teeth to steal ****. Insurance wont give it back, so consider yourself lucky widget. You coulda lost your baby forever..

 

I definitely consider myself lucky. Not only was my car not totaled and deemed SCRAP but I was okay, too. Let's see a Civic take it in the *** like that and come out scrap-free. lol

As for the chick in the Honda (who was probably psycho-texting the guy that used her the night before), still no luck in finding her. Maybe it's just better that way.

Today I bought some amber bulbs to replace the white bulbs that are in the yellow corners now for when I put the clear corners on. Wish we could make the turn signals cool colors, or anything light up for that matter... >frown< I'd have green all over this car lol

 

what % is that tint? i like that! seems proteges are targets now... nice car! and i hope everything goes well.

just some food for thought - couldnt you dip a light bulb into watered down paint...would that tint it some?

I think I am getting my car back today. I really miss it, even though it's only been a week. This Sentra I've been driving is like a lame dog.

 

pretty much for me. that mirror i busted... and i'm replacing the mirrors with the paintable ones.

 

I'll have to check the receipt for the % of the tints. The place where I went had five levels, the darkest (5) being Limo. I got level 4 on the back windows and 3 on the front. My receipt's at home, and I'm at work.. So I'll get back to you
