it's a 26b engine...they were used in LeMans in the old 787 cars....mazda won so many races with that engine they outlawed rotary engines in races.
4 rotors are old-school man. I've got a video of a NA 4rotor drag racing....it was insane.

here is some more info on the 4 rotor bmw
