Well, as promised, here are some pics of the extra lights I installed on my 2nd Gen Protegé. I still have to post a pic showing the back of the lights, with the hole and bulb. Enjoy.

I noticed that your signature says you have a '97 well unfortunately it can't be done on 97-98's only on 95-96. I finally found a reason to keep my 95-96 trunk centerpiece. The reason is because the 97-98 centerpiece doesn't have a hollow part where the lights would go. So it's one or the other, corksport clear from side to side(if you have the corksport tails) OR different tailights for $8 + some electrical tape

 

Ohh, my bad, I didn't know that center pieces differ that much structurally.

 

guys are you talking abt the garnish to the trunk..the red thing there..???..yes it dosent have the thing to put light there...but i notice when i was in the Philippines that the same one for 97 up has it...im thinking of getting it since im going there this May...hope it will fit...llater
