HIN '03 Seattle
Only two days before the show, the PR guy from Mazda called up Corksport and asked to put my car up in their booth.
I agreed of course.
i'll have more pics of the models next to the car when my friend develps them.

We went to the show and saw your car, it looks nice! I'm hopeing to have my Pro done for HIN in July. We were a little disappointed by the low number of fixed up Pros, but then again it will make ours look that much more unique when it's done! Are you planning on showing your car in July? What else do you plan on doing to your ride?

upgrading my sound system to include video multimedia, change up some of the interior, powdercoat the engine bay, a lil lighting accents here and there and change the way my trunk opens up. it'll look funky... hehhee.. you'll see. i'll have more details later.
other than the styling, its all about my engine. add a bigger turbo, boost controller, and hopefully run it at PIR

Sounds cool...have you even ran your car before? We use to race the Pro at Woodburn Drags and ran a mid 15 on street tires with full interior and stereo system. We couldn't get grip until about third gear with running a ZEX kit off the line with full throttle. On the street it did much better, the the track was WAY too slick. Do you have any idea what your 1/4 mile time is?

Sweet, I love seeing Proteges represent at the track since there aren't very may of them. I know CS's turboed protege ran some impressive time last year at the track. Unfortunatly we probably won't be racing the Protege at the track this next year. We already blew one engine running NOS and don't need to do that to another one. But then it all depends on the out come of the engine. We're taking it into Mazda in a week or so to see if we're going to be able to get the engine covered under warrenty (we removed all the signs of the NOS kit, besides if they can tell from the internals). If they don't cover it we're going to go with a JDM motor and if that's the case we'll definaly have that out at the track!
