You make me sick dude!!! 16 with that ride??!?!? Whether its rice or not...that's sick man. I work 40+ hours and i cant afford more than a 17k car plus i'm a full time college student. You're still in high school dude...in high school i could've worked 80+ hours a week and still pass with honors.

 

yea i know, Im lucky. I have saved up for a long time and i work at least 20 hours a week part time while still taking honors. I am only a sophomore though but I still get straight A's at a technical school. I take networking next year I cant wait!

He understands. And thats true they are jumping on me once again. The selected few who say that mine is ricey. What makes my car ricey? Just cuz I got a nice spoiler and an exhaust? BUt oh well thats ur opinion. Thanks for the people who support me and do think its nice. As for the rims, I am saving up but I try to work as much as I can. In case you havent read the entire thread. I am ONLY 16 years old and im still in 10th grade. I do still got school to go to 7 hours a day (a technical magnet highschool) and then I work when I can at a crappy 6.75 an hour. Not like some of you guys that make like 30 bucks an hour. PLus I pay for all my stuff, so it is a slow progress. Thanks for wheelmax though, I already knew about it. I should have enough by mid to the end of may.

 

I do agree that it is an ugly grill and all that blue crap. But if you read above it I put it is the kit I WANT, not that I have. Big difference. As for the Hondas and Civics, I can't stand them because EVERYONE and their mothers have the car. I am not surprised or anything at all with them. Everything has been done to them, which just makes them so common and cheap. I wouldnt be able to feel proud hooking up a civic cuz I turn the block and their is another one. I wanna feel proud with the work I do with my Protege because I know that there are not many that are hooked up really nice (at least in South Florida) Cuz when I do roll by when its hooked up it will catch more attention because it is RARE. What do you guys think? Are you guys proud of your Proteges and happy you dont have a civic like evryone else? Thats how I feel. Thanks

My problem is i just plain old don't like wings west ****. To ricey for me. I am also 16 junior in hs. work 20 hrs a week now repairing computers for 8.50$ and gonna work full time this summer. I feel for ya. Why don't you seel that wing. Get the stock wing and put some performance mods on it . I know how you fell with the money situation. I buy all my own **** to including my car and insurance. Soon i will have a credit card then i will order my jspec bumper.

 

Good to see that somebody else is like me. IMO I like the wing and I'm gonna keep it. It might not be like other people but I think that in the long run it will look really nice once its dropped, on rims, and kit and all. I WISH I could work that much with computers. I just got another job with computers but its not picking up yet. Should be well around 10-15 dollars an hour though after we get another company to network.

 

I'm 18 in HS.. decent grades and I have a 91 323 witha bad tranny(being fixed soon) a 91 Escort GT.. recently totaled(tranny donor for my 323 and a 93 Escort GT.. great car.

I wish I could have a 99 pro ): I don't think the wing is that bad.. I've seen worse. I'm really into the beauty of factory though.. simple exteriors with insane engines.

Oh yeah.. I work part time and do Graphic design work
