Interior painted...finally.
I hated the silver trim in my Protege5 so I got some expesive automotive paint from work and sprayed all the pieces Classic Red like the exterior. The paint is made for exterior so it will stand abuse and looks great. I am willing to paint anyones interior pieces any color you want. PM me and I will talk to you about it. Here are the pics:
Just in case you forgot, this is what it used to look like:
Tell me what you guys think! And let me know if you want it done on your car.

If that is your "cup of tea", good for you. You wanted to know what we thought and I thinks it looks terrible. I like the Silver look that comes in the cars. Not trying to be offensive, but the fact is, if you like it then great.

Rider69, If you don't like it then thats your opinion, and I asked for them, so thanks. Thanks for the comment on my other mods as well, even though I don't really have that many.
Invincibleredp5, that is a PPG product. Its called concept and is used as automotive exterior paint. I used the classic red paint code (A3E) and got the formula to mix it (I work at a automotive shop. We supply the paint to the Big dealers here, and many custom shops) Its an exact match to my exterior. It was sprayed in a paint booth in my friends garage. We used an adhesive promoter to make the paint stick better to the plastics. It looks great to me, especially since I couldn't stand the silver. Its a great improvement IMO.

That little **** is for my Rockford 500.2 Amp. Its to adjust the bass. Works great by the way. The price to paint it depends on how much you want painted. If you wanted everything painted (like mine) it would run about $150 total. If you ship it to me, I'll ship it back. The parts need to be wrapped individually so they don't get gouged up, preferably in bubble wrap. The reason it costs so much is the materials. The paint is $30/pt, and you need hardener, reducer, paint and some sorta masking material. It takes about 8 hours for the parts to completely dry and about 1½ hours to paint (three coats). The paint has clear over it (made for exterior of cars) so its very durrable. Let me know what you guys think. Just remember, this is no Plastikote or Krylon. Ambient saw it in person and I'm doing his sometime next week.
