Yeah, so it was cold & rainy this morning, but like a trooper I still went. They ended up postponing/rescheduling the racing portion, but the car show still went on. It was a small show, but I'm pretty sure I won something. Well, at any rate I have a trophy that says "Best Other Import". Other than what? Don't know! This guy I work with (he has a Supra) ran over with 2 trophies and tossed one at me. So...yeah...I guess I won something. It was really, REALLY cold and I think I was so frozen that I missed the trophy presentation OOPS

I'm going to eb selling the p5 also and just building the RX7 for auto-x +show

 

Because I'm bored. My car is slowly showing signs of age in addition to every single rim I have being bent/curbed. It would take too much money to stay competitive and I have other things on my mind, like taking nice vacations and seeing the world. Now, if VTS wants to borrow my car for a booth display, they can have it. I owe them that much.

Hopefully the fOCUS sale will come through and we can get rid of all our car payments in one shot. It would be nice to have extra money and not be strapped all the time. I could use the extra dough to renew my COMMA/HST license and go to Hallett on the weekends. The Miata also needs some things...but she's been taking a back seat this year.

Ah well, I'm taking my SHOW CAR to Hallett for our private lapping day on November 2. I want to get some track pics of her the way she looks now. Don't worry though, I'll bring extra oil for that "oil starvation" issue LOL

 

With you two selling, the community over here is going to get even smaller! But you gotta do what ya gotta do I guess! You both have pretty good reasons anyway. I want an old RX-7 myself, but that wont be for a long while due to shortage of the monies....

 

Well...I'm not selling the P5, if that's what you mean! Oh no way man!!! She's staying with me. Heck, I might even fix that dent that no one seems to notice but me.

If the ZX351 sells, then we'll use the proceeds to pay off my car. Right now we have my payment and what's left of his. We could certainly use no payments at all! The Miata, the Crown Vic, and the scooter are all paid for so we're good to go
