Long time
I havent been on this site for awhile, just thought I would drop a new picture and a fun little story
Well I have two cars and my wife has one. She has the 2002 Protege, I have the 1998 LS/VTEC Integra, and a 1990 GSR swapped Integra. Well I am a member of the SCCS and we had one last autox of the summer. So I had to make a decision. The Red Integra was down because I blew up the stock B16 open differential that was in my trans when I bought it, at a street legal event. Then I broke an Axle on the 1990 integra (really dont know how I did this), but anyways I was left with the Protege to autox.
Well lets just say- I took my class and now I want to fix and sell the DA and pick up another Protege- lol
But seriously- here are the stats. I put down consistantly faster times than the following cars
GSR swapped Integra - beat by almost 8 seconds
an ITR swapped EG civic hatch with a ton of suspension work- beat by a few tenths
here the list gets interesting
a BMW M3 by a second
a K20a swapped EG hatch (JDM Integra/RSX Type R engine in a hatch) by a few tenths
2 SR20DET swapped 240sxs 1 by over 3 seconds and the other by a few tenths
a neon setup for autox on race rubber by almost 3 seconds
and the list goes on
Here is the thing- stock motor, with an Intake and a muffler
Tein S-techs on replacement shocks from SR motorsports (sold the basics- replaced with these for close to free- saving for SS's)
AWR rear sway bar.
Literally thats it
and a pic

Best part- and you guys may not believe this after reading about the cars I beat in this event...
ITS AN AUTOMATIC
and SCCS is a faction of the SCCA.
and yes- the foglights are busted out- lol I have the covers to fix them, just havent done it yet- I have two other broken cars I have to fix- lol

I must say it was hard for me to autox this car. Power steering would keep locking up and ever try shifting an automatic through an autox course to maintain and carry speed. Its not the easiest thing to do.
I plan on fixing up a few issues with my 90 Integra and selling it and buying a 02 5spd Pro, completely stock. I want to run in stock class with it when I autox with it- hahaha.
