1. why no battery box? Is it secured in some other way? I know the Optima batteries are totally sealed so you shouldn't ever have a leakage problem, but I wonder if it could pass inspection or SCCA tech?
2. WHOA that's a ton of caps. What made you decide on that? I've never done "high power" audio installs, but I'm thinking that the burst power level available with all those caps is enough to literally explodes anyone's eardrums within a 20ft radius of the car.

again man, sick install, the plug outlet/jacks (I'm assuming video/audio input) is very stealth. Actually pretty much the whole install is pretty stealth considering how much stuff is there.

Maybe I should have done audio work instead of turbo stuff.. can be just as expensive, but oh so shiny and won't make my engine explode hehe

To answer your questions...

1) the battery is now in the spare tire well on the other side of the caps under the amps. It was sitting there just for temporary until I figured out how I wanted to get it underneath everything. Ended up just lifting the amp rack a bit to fit it under there.

2) I had it all in my 89 camaro that I owned before the mazda and didn't want to have it sitting around, and couldn't bring myself to sell it after the prices I got on it all. I still have a second sub, second set of components, and a 7 band eq that aren't in the car yet.

And ya, they are A/V2 inputs to the indash TV and rear TV's, as well as a 120V for a laptop, xbox, phone charger, waffle maker, whatever really
Thanx for the comments everyone!

MECP as well. I have the advanced certification. Focus looks good. Which mic did you use? Also where was the placement? Just remember the setup isn't done. I have another 12 to put in once I build a custom box. So damn busy with work and now moving I don't know if I will ever get around to it.

Looks good man. I'd go with some blacked out Mazda emblems on the front and back to finish out the appearance. You can pick em up from streetunit.com if you're interested in something like that. I think it'd look sweet on the white.

I actually want to get rid of the ones in the rear but I'm worried there are holes behind the big emblem...anyone know? and I want to take the front one out...I basically want a smoothed clean car. Also want to take off them damn red reflectors and paint the black part on the back white. Less is more, I always say Thanx again everyone for all the compliments. I'm thinking about sending it into car audio and electronics to see if they will feature it in there choices section. Think I have a chance?
