LMAO! I wasnt questioning your driving ability cause you have a Protege and are therefore immediatly a good driver! I was more stating how MANY people in Cali (ie, the soccer moms in the 'Burbans) need to learn how to drive, especially in the rain. I was also making the comparison to how rain in cali, and accidents there, is like snow and accidents up here. I mean, in Cali, the amount of accidents jumps like 45% or somthing when it rains. 45%!!! You just dont see increases like that because of rain in Canada (or any other stae theat normally sees rain...ie, Washington, Oregon, etc). Thats the type of numbers you see for snow! People need to adjust to severe weather driving conditions weither it be rain in Cali, snow in Canada, or dust storms and tumblewwed in Tuscon!
BTW, 'brah', I was being sarcastic about the 'all seasons' question! I guess you couldnt here the 'sarcastic clicks' my fingers made when they hit my keyboard keys!

i agree, ppl in cali freak when it rains, but consider this, it rains about 2 weeks per year here...imagine the amount of ppl who just got their lisence recently...in Cali thats a big number. Ppl just aren't use to it and it makes em nervous.
Plus with no rain, the oils on the roads make it VERY slick when it does rain.

And i know what you mean, i grew up in Montreal winters, i know all about driving in blizzards and black ice.

There are more ppl in the state of Cali than there are in all of Canada...think about that one.....

If people in Cali are worried about driving in rain ,, they should come to the northeast and battle some snow ,, or worse yet battle snow with rims on and khumo tires ,,, lol that is crazy .. almost like slicks in the wet .... I would rather have rims on in the rain however than to have the stockers ... ,, for grip reasons ...
