Looks like a lot of fun! Wow, never thought of going to a drive-in as part of a car meet.. seems so logical! Too bad there are barely any around anymore.

 

Nice turnout...we can't get anything going in my area.
And yeah, drive-ins are (were) a blast. Only one or two around here now.

 

You could probably get the Ohio people and the Rochester/Buffalo people (ok so it's really just me) to meet up since it's sorta almost a midway point

that would be his truck we didn't bring it out Saturday but the guys told him to bring the Lightning. So we did

the two last pics in the first post, there is a blueish/grey speed3!?!?!
i thought they only came in metallic blue/red/white/black/silver (canada)

or is it just a normal 3 in speed3 clothing??????

 

Nah, they come in "wait.. is that gray.. no I think it might be blue.. ah who cares it's just some boring color" .. i.e. 'cosmic blue'.. yeah *blech*

no offense to anyone who owns one, it's just not my thing. A mazdaspeed should come in only bold colors like black, white, red, orange, yellow, bright blue, etc.

yeah, it was a speed 3. i didn't care for the color as well. he was from Ohio and there were like 5 or 6 of us going to the drive-in and I was leading bc i was the only one who knew how to get there bc i've been there plenty of times before with friends. as soon as i hit the off ramp, the guy in the speed 3 comes flying up next to me where he would've hit the median and I thought he was going to cut me off but he had stopped just right over the line so I slowed down bc I didn't want him hitting my car. He looked as if he was gonna go ahead and get in front of me but didn't. jackass move...

So we get to the gas station to get some cash from the ATM and to get drinks and snacks to bring in and he asked me why I didn't just pass him. hmmm well, I was being smart and didn't know what his intentions were. I didn't know what the hell he was doing

I just started cussing as soon as I got out of my car...he felt pretty bad I guess

 

ah dont worry about him.

ive had people completely loose it on me for the most retarded things
1) 2 lane road, one for each direction of traffic, and the guy in front of me is going a bit slow for me, so i downshift, and blow past him (he's in a old buick). at the stop light up ahead, he starts swearing at me, yelling, and flipping me off.....
2) ive had people get really pissed at me for having loud music.

its just a fact that some people are idiots... oh well... i find it funny how retarded some people are sometime..

but back on track, cosmic blue? wtf, i still thought the speed 3 only came in 5 colours (4 for the US)..... whatever
