Pics of accident

Well figured I'd post these in their own thread to allow for any discussion people might have. Check them in my signature.

Car hit me drivers side and put me into a slide into the post. And there you have it.

3 weeks in coma. Another in hospital and then a month in rehab center and I'm out. It was 2 months total which is still short of the 6 months the doctor expected me to be in hospital.

Miss my car but there's a 6 on the way. heh

I'm am glad you are alright. I was in a t-bone accident last August (2001) in Edmonton. I was in a coma for 3 weeks, in the hospital for another 2 months, at a rehab centre for 2 months and still going through a rehab process that has had me back at work now. It's been 8 months of this and I am still not full time! I am brain injured so you were very lucky. Don't take anything for granted. Anything! Glad your doing well and can still look forward to drive your 6!!!!!!

Holy **** kincaid, that is one ugly looking accident right there, glad to hear you're alright bro. do you remember anything about it?

Both of you guys spent 3 weeks in a coma, that's a freaky coincidence...well, it's good to know you're ok now.

Damn. I'm glad you made it out and sorry about your ride. How'd you end up in there? And, will it be back on the road anytime soon?

damn , I never new you got into an accident bro , I am really glad to see you made it out ok. Damn that accident looked pretty bad, the thing that really counts is that you still have your life, as a car can always be replaced , but a life can not

Ended up there by someone hitting me on the drivers side and sliding off the road and into that post.

And no, it won't be back on the road. It's written off. Engines already been hauled from it, etc. All that's left on the yard is basically frame.

But oh well,I'm not doing too bad now. Getting better anyways.

My left side went dead in the accident. Had to learn to walk and to type again. As well as swallow, as the left side of my throat went. But that's coming back with rehab and much much exercise.

I've said it before but now it makes more sense to me, never take anything for granted. Anything at all.

Kincaid take NOTHING for granted. I am with you man. I had to 'relearn' everything again too and I am still not back to work fully yet. But I know what you have been there/still going through. WE are so lucky.
