You said that the Canadian 2003 Proteges have the blacked out headlights correct? Are they similiar in design, in that possibly they would fit on a 2002 Protege here in the US? I have a black protege 5, and I figure some blacked out headlights would look hot as hell! I was thinking about painting the insides, but if they come like that and fit, I won't even waste the time in doing so? Could someone find out if they would fit, and approx how much they would cost, and how to go about ordering them?

I think you can swap them in with no problems since the headlight units are the same shape as the old ones except it has alot of black plastic within the unit to create the black out effect.

IMO I think they looks nice only head on, when viewed from the front. From the side, they look like those black headlight covers on Cavaliers etc. Yuck!

Btw why would people want to cover their headlights and actually want less light on the road?

I was going to say that I like your car but the hood thing was just so fugly that I couldn't get myself to say it. If you keep it off, your car looks very very nice.

I hope that that is not really going to be a SHOW CAR. Underground or what ever is using that thing on EBay to sell product and on their company web page. Why would they have their Demo car with 2 different shades of white on it. If it is your CAr why did you spend all that money on the kit and then waste even more money to have a half *** paint job done on it. I highly doubt you will do well at shows just because of that paint job being so bad. I thought about picking up there lip but have now decided totaly against it.

 

Did you not read my post about the paint NOT being 2 colors?

The pic was taken when the paint was fresh and my car dirty. You can ask all the Toronto peoples they will tell you that the white is the same.

 

I've seen it, it looks better in person. Trust me.

 

Who cares what other people think, your kit looks good! Screw everyone else and their thoughts!
