Nice ride man....black looks tight. I'm surprised that there aren't too many of these in Vegas. I'm looking for a new HU. What model Kenwood is that?

I saw a MazdaSpeed in vivid yellow the other day. I was like *Whoa*...that is truly badass.

 

IT's the KDC-MP919, it's the stock head unit that comes with the car. I think it's only available with the Mazdaspeed Protege, I don't think kenwood actually sells it, but I could be wrong.

 

the 2003 comes in both the orange and black, the 2003.5 comes in yellow and like a gray/blue.

 

I coulda gotten a yellow one, but I wanted the fog lights, and they don't come on the 2003.5.

 

Dang...that's the stock head unit??? That is sweet! How do you like it? It looks awesome. As you can see...I haven't shopped for an MSP, so I'm like totally amazed with all this ****.

 

It's damn cool, the sound system rocks, it's all kenwood with a kenwood sub and amp in the trunk, again all stock, plus kenwood component speakers all around. Took some playing with to get it to sound how I wanted to, but once i had the right combination of settings it really shined.

 

MSPs are also coming out in sunlight silver metallic and laser blue mica.

 

They black is truely beautiful, if I were to get a MSP, I think I'd go for black, or maybe the sunlight silver metallic

Bizob, reason you thought the Mazdaspeed was only available in black is because in Canada we are only getting the orange one until the graphite one is released.

Now I keep wanting to buy this car more as my next car when I sell my other car.
(RSX, TRD Celica, Mazda6 V6, Suburi Impreza are in my next car list too)

 

As of yet it's all stock. I will probably got with basic bolt on's probably an intake, a nice exhaust, who knows but for the most part I'm gonna try to keep things the way they are. Can't make perfection anybetter...

 

Nice ride......I love how the mica-black looks when it is clean. Can't wait till it stops rainning up here in Mass. My car is so dirty......
