i was wondering if anyone has a pic of a stock intake from a 03.5 msp? reason because my intake stops at the box with a plastic 90 degree elbow and i saw a pic of a stock 2.0 protege with what looks like a airdam that continues from the box to the front of the rad.

The MSD intake is somewhat different from the normally aspirated version. Your air box is attached to the 90 deg elbow which is correct for your car. In the na version, the air box is attached to a snorkel which runs over the radiator to an air inlet pick-up on the passenger side of the car.
