Pictures of HONDA CIVIC SI

I test drove an Si last night. It drove pretty well, but I hated the shifter, it is not in a comfortable position to shift for me, its like tuning your radio height, not shifting height. I must say its damn ugly, but the seats are very very suportive, I will definetly get some sport seats in my p5. The one thing I do envy about the si is its amazingly silky smooth engine. My engine has never or will never sound like that. Well tomorrow I am test driving a Mini and a Cooper S.

That type R looks way better than our SI. It has a different hatch spoiler, side skirts, front fascia, and better 17" wheels. The SI here, gets ko-kartesque 15" wheels. 200HP from that engine does sound nice though. They won't be able to market that car here though. It will cost about $23K, since the SI is $20K. They RSX type S is about the same price, so HONDA won't comprimise its sales or the RSX. We get screwed again and don't get an awesome car. C'mon honda, if you're gonna give us the shaft, at least give us some lubrication.

Well I am used to shifting my car with a short shifter so pretty much everything else feels excessively long in terms of the throw. The shifter itself was nice but the placement was not a natural position for me. I guess to each his own. I highly doubt we would get the Type R, who the hell would buy the rsx type s if they could get a car that is about the same price with the same engine more racing oriented and faster.
