cleanup is 90% of the labor involved in powder coating.....I've been stripping your cover down for about 4 hours collectivly...I figure I've got another few evenings of sanding and brushing before it goes into the "soak tank"! After that it'll get brushed again and then cured to burn off any remaining solvent. After that I'll get to coating it...the actual coating process won't take me more than 30 minutes.
p.s. I just ordered the wrinkle red for you shaun, also I'm going to coat your cover but leave your raised lettering a shiney polished finish. I thought that would look good. If you want it solid red just let me know.

Karen, look at the bottom of the "weatherable" list for "Mp3 yellow". It looks good and I have that in stock. I carry most of the major colors but even if I have to order something it doesn't take more than a few days. I'm going to be doing a yellow p5 here in a few days and I'll get some pics of his cover coated for you so you can see what it looks like. I may also be able to "2-tone" it for you...yellow on the cover and black on the letters. Should look good and give you some more eye candy under the hood!

I've been scraping that gunked up oil off the underside of the cover.....thats a common mitsubishi problem but hopefully after the soak and another scrub it'll look like new again without all the build up.
