Today's Auto-X Pics
Here's a few pics from today's website. There were a bunch of Mazdas out there today including an MSP and RX8. The MSP didn't run this time (co-drove a WRX) and the RX8 did rather well. Among the rest of the Mazdas were 3 very impressive 3rd Gen RX7s and more Miatas than you can shake a stick at . I'm the white Miata with "MAZDASPEED" on the front.
BTW...took third today in ES. Moving up slowly but surely.

Edit: I didn't take the pics, just thought I'd post them.

nice pics, good job on 3rd place!!!
BTW, i know the Miata is a small car, but does shifting your body weight help too
OH, wait, your just looking waaaaay ahead, aren't you.
We fianlly had a new STi show up this weekend...did well. The driver was a WRX driver before, but was his forst event with the STi. Had some decent times.
Man, i haven't even seen an RX8 on the road yet...and you get one at the track...lucky you.

As far as the STi's go, we've had quite a few show up at the past few events. I think there's, on average, about 3 that show up to each event.
The RX8 did pretty good also. He took 3rd in BS. Not too bad for his first time drivng that car. He previously drove a Miata in ES (read: less competition for me ).

Hoosier Daddy?
just saw that, killer funny dude....good one
Do you have fuel starvation probs with the Miata? I keep mine at 1/2 tank normally, but have gone a hair below 1/4 without any probs. Just that i've heard from some others that they have probs below 1/4, wondering if the Miata did too.

I usually run the car right at E, or just a hair on the "wrong" side of E. I have yet to have any fuel starving issues. I don't think the fuel issue is that much of a problem with the Miata, but I've never really spoken to anyone about it either (never really had a reason to).
