As for red on my car...the engine is the ONLY thing red. And that was because my Injen CAI had red boots and i just didnt want it to STICK OUT so i did the rest of the engine red. I chose yellow because it goes with the YELLOW car.! LOL

You won't need a hoist. I did mine in the driveway with a right angle drill and didnt even jack up the car. The front one hides behind that black wind deflector, the rear one goes up on the thin metal behind the rear bumper. Both the sides hide 100% if you pay attention to where you put the screws. I wire tied my transformer under the front end on the driver side where my Injen CAI filter is. It stays dry there and out of the way. Hope this helps man!! This is the first night time neon pic i took...so im still learning night pics! LOL

A hoist makes life a whole lot easier, and yes Em, you may use it.

I put my transformer inside the car, to keep it out of harms way. Just screwed it into a frame support under the dash.

Nice Maxx. I hope the neons survived the winter. I just got the same ones. Where they hard to install?

EDIT: Nvm about the sides how the hell did you get the tube on the back installed? i can't drill through the bumper its too damn thick! i only got 1 titanium drill bitwhich is supposed to go through metal but it won't go through the bumper

They go UNDER the car man....behind the pinch molding. You cant see any of the tubes if they are put on right. IT looks dumb as hell when you can see them! LOL I used a right angle drill and mounted them. Mine are lite glow too and i didnt have any problems!!

they are under the car and you can't see them when their on, i have half the tube covered with reflective tape so it will only shine in 1 direction, plus im going to use electrical tape over the shiny tape so it just looks black. anyways for the rear did you go through that peice of metal that is vertical and separates the tire compartment with the bumper? damn i need a right angle drill, i only got a dremel LOL
