Not be a wet blanket but when you driving around town your Monster flow is going be be sucking hot air right off you manifold. Your going to need some sort of heat sheild.

Why do I know this? Because I had a monster flow on my SVT and ended up selling for a KKM.

Just a thought...

Its not that bad actually, I have (had) that intake and after being stuck in rush hour it stays quite cool. I was pondering fabricating a shield though. (couldn't hurt) I swapped the MonsterFlow for a K&N filter. It "seems" to have improved across the powerband somewhat. I changed because I couldn't get the cleaning kit, the service from the place that put it on sucked, (it came with the car, along with leather and the rest of the stuff) My dealer stopped dealing with them they were so bad.

The best way to know for sure is to dyno it, if you can.

Do a hood up run and a hood down run. You'll know for sure then if you pulling hot air of the manifold.
