It's still there, over 3 years later :P
held in solely by zip ties.. it's very, grossly ghetto, trust me.
I need to buy one of those chrome catch cans, then give it some semi-gloss black paint

dudes, zip ties are pretty awesome. lol. there's one holding the intake pipe up (away from sitting on the tranny) because the original flexible metal bracket kept breaking...actually, it's still there, just looped in an upside down U, the zip tie loops from there to one of the mounting holes for the stock airbox...
the engine bay is wonderfully compact, which yeilds proportional/visual benefits to the car (not a massive front overhang that is so common on front drivers). the one thing i've never understood is the battery placement. that intake pipe has to make a nice detour. i guess the weight distribution is better.
