3rd gen Protege vs. [insert loser here]

This is just for 3rd gen Proteges, I wanna know what they can beat.
So far I've only beat a 91 Prelude (caught up to him then whooped his *** like this ) 93 Eclipse (non-turbo, a close one), a 94 Integra (stock one), a 03 Civic sedan, and my bros 01 Corolla before he got his intake and exhaust. O yea and a ford E-250 (a/c guy wanted some )

come on now, the protege isnt that slow. mine got a injen cold air intake and a custom exhaust and that helped mine out alot. the only thing i could beat when it was stock was a stock civic but now i can actually try to race something other than civics. i hope my car can beat a rsx or a mazdaspeed one day too.

haha, i never played around in my wife's ES (automatic), but it does seem peppy, but.. so does my slow '92 SOHC autotragic...

then... both are slow compared to my MSP - and my MSP is slow compared to a buncha cars..

I don't even bother trying to keep up with people at red lights, etc with my 130 to the flywheel Pro5. But put me on a road-course, or even an empty winding road, and that's where the Protege (or any Mazda, for that matter) comes into it's own.

thats true, ive never actually been autocrossing (wish i could find something like that around central florida)but when i race people on curvy roads i either pull out ahead by like 2 or 3 cars(if im up front) depending on the curve, or get on their asses to the point where they kinda go off road cuz of the pressure im putting on them (if im behind them)

matter of fact one of my boys just got a stripped 5spd 2 door civic coupe with a aem v2 intake, dc headers and exhaust and we raced. of course he got ahead of me but when we got to some curves i was able to catch up and get a little ahead of him. but then the road got straight again and he was out
