Close brush with the law... *phew*
My friends and I decided to go to this pumpkin patch near my house so we can slide down the gigantic blow-up slide. For some reason the owners decided not to like us and said that they're closed. My friends and I went to the parking lot to decide what we were going to do next. Then all of a sudden I realize that I had evening class, so I say "Oh sh*t! I'll see you guys later!" I jump in the car and stomp it... The parking lot was littered with gravel and sand and I took off a little too fast. So I yank the steering wheel and of course my beloved front-wheel drive car start plowing diagonally (yay, FWD!) and shooting up big clouds of dust and sand. I let off the throttle a little bit and straightened the car out. So as I'm about to get out of the parking lot I hear the dreaded siren and I see the p^H^H...cop car behind me. I think to myself "aw, ****!" So the cop comes over and literally yells at me "Hey **** for brains, let me see your license and registration!" So I give him the stuff... Then he goes over to his car and comes back to me about 10 minutes later.
He says "You know what you just did is a misdemeanor. It's an exhibition of speed. If I write you a ticket you'd have to go to court and they can suspend your license for a year..." So I'm thinking "Great!" Then he goes on to ask me where I live and so on... Then he says "Slow down!" and leaves.
Can you say PHEW!!!

the ^H means Ctrl-H which in Unix-world stands for backspace. It's a joke that people on tech-related forums use... so I first wrote "pig" then pressed backspace twice and wrote "cop"
Heh, I hope you get it...

I don't like to use "tech" a lot but I couldn't really find a better word....
