I want a supercharger!!!

I got spanked by a Mercedes! Had some fun with a C230-Kompressor tonight. I managed to drop him the first time around. But on the second launch he got me. Mind you up to about 60km/hr I was in the lead. But then his friggen supercharger kicked in and I was toast. Forget the turbo, I want a supercharger now. Oh well my P5 only cost half of the merc, that makes me feel better. mercedes.iss:

Well then I guess it was my superiour driving skills that spanked him then. hehehe.

PS we raced on a closed street, so it was nice and safe!

WTF are you smoking??? Super chargers "kick in" as soon as you push the pedal. TURBO chagers don't "kick in" till higher RPM's.

yeah but LIKE i was saying. The Super charger gives you boost right off the lines. maybe it's not full boost but you might be getting 3lbs of boost by the time you hit 3000 rmps. and just to let you know super chagers don't give high boost. usally the max is around 8-10lbs of boost. PLUS ANY THING YOU PUT ON YOUR CAR IS NOT GOING TO GIVE UP MAX HP GAIN OFF THE LINE. DUH.
Not trying to flame but it's true.

maybe the "kick in" was the MB driver pushing the gas pedal down further.

oh ok now i understand the "kick in" part. Oh well but the fact of the matter is that (at least on my MP3) the is no way in hell i can fit a supercharger on my engine due to the fact that the engine is mounted side ways. oh well.
