I'm not sure if this is a kill or not--but I won
I don't know, Is this a kill or was I just lucky. We're in the Bronx down at Hunts Point where all the street racing is going on. I've already won around 3 races and an Asian guy pulls up next to me and says do you wanna run? I look at him then look at the car and he's driving a Mitsu 3000GT. I say to myself it's probably a SL model which is not a turbo.
So I said sure let's go. As he pulls in front me to line up I notice the letters on the right rear fender that says VR4 So I say aw Man...I'm gonna get my *** handed to me on a silver platter. I was going to change my name to Jessie and turn around and leave the place and keep going, but there just too many cars there. So I said what the hell. So we line up and the starter waves his hands and yells GO!!! My tires spin and I pull off. This guy is on my left and I see the front and back tires spin. Next thing ya' know, I hear a loud whine then a loud POW. I thought it was my car but I didn't care, I was gonna give my best shot. I get to the end of the road and notice I'm the only one there. So I slow down, make a U-turn and go back to the starting line and there is a bunch of people standing around a cloud of smoke. I park my car on the side and go over there and it's the Mitsubishi that's smoking like Brian Earl Spilner's Eclipse after racing Toretto, Ja-Rule and that Asian kid in the civic. I asked the dude what the hell happened, he said he doesn't know, It was a good launch then he heard the same noise I described and his car just died. One of the other guys out there said his turbo, trans, and maybe the axels are shot. He said because of the torque from the car was spinning all four wheels the axels weren't strong enough. And when the Turbo was spooled up that just added more power/pressure to the drive axels. Is that possible?? Who cares I wan that's all that matters. It's a cheesy win, but always remember the famous saying: IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU WIN BY AN INCH OR A MILE----WINNING IS WINNING :

I'm not one of them I just do it to remind people the difference between a movie and reality. And actually how stupid but very entertaining it was. I mean is there really such a thing as a Motec System Exhaust or lifting the front end of a car while smoking the tires??
Last time I checked the Law of Physics; in order to lift the front of a car you need incredible traction from the rear wheels, and in order to do a burnout you must lose traction for the wheels to spin.
I'm cracking up just thinking about it

go to the link....there's so many mistakes it's incredible

oh i agree it was entertaining, despite the fact it sucked, i guess thats y it grossed so much. now that the new one is being filmed in miami...as we speech as a matter of fact... is good and bad. one...people i know have there cars in the movie, people i know will be in the movie... then theres all the people who think its the coolest thing in the world to go watch everyday all day. kids are even skipping school and going...which is understandable i skipped school with less of a reason than that...but now that i lost the point of this post in my ramblings i'll just end it.
and again good kill
