lead foot

I was on my way to MS from Atlanta I was on 20 west and a lexus ls 400 ran up on me doing 100 I was running with the lexus at about 125 for about one hour and my rpms were only at 2 my car is a champion I think the only thing that slowed me down where all four of my windows being down (no AC) the guy in the lexus asked me what I had under the hood I simply said 4 cyclinders and a lead foot. I even had a 5.0 mustang run up me

k, that's bs cuz in my car at 70mph the rpms are at 4grand in 5th gear. at 125 you wouldn't be at 2grand, unless you're cool and had a 7 speed tranny custom installed, which i highly doubt

Funny how this guy is pushing people's buttons ... I think he's sittin' back catching a few grins! Might be "ignore" time until he has something sensible to say ....

He's not pushing his peroid, comma or shift buttons!, that's for sure.
Maybe he was in neutral, going down a REALLY steep hill.
Maybe he was smokin' hoochie!

Oh, we don't hate the sinner...

This has nothing to do with "hating". It's a simple disagreement over what speed we can maintain at what RPM in which gear.

Your report is wildly different that everyone else's experience, therefore:

a) You are mistaken or
b) You do not have the factory transmission (or it's modified).

I think you just don't have a "feel" for this forum. In case you hadn't noticed the members tend to have quite a penchant for technical accuracy.

Street racer is an oxymoron. Racing should be done on the track, always.
