Mazda 323 vs. Del Sol Vtec

Can you believe that everyday while I had my 323 bone stock this KID used to pass by me with his Del Sol Vtec like comin out of hell leavin me all ashamed with my humble 323.

I made a comitment to make him eat his own dust. BP05 and tranny swap, Lightened the flywheel, dropped in some nice Miata pistons, adjustable cam gears, Magnaflow exhaust 2.25", Pacesetter header, K&N filter, ported Intake manifold AKA (plenum), BP09 ECU, OBX adjustable fuel pressure regulator, MX3 fuel pump. GSR rims, Falken tires, KYB struts, front sway bars (as you know the 323 does not have front sway bars), urethane bushings, rear rotors, strut towers, etc.

At last I rolled beside him and just rev it humbly to 7,000 rpms ...fuuaattaa,, futttaaa. The guy was, "BS man, I wont race you, what the hell you got under the hood"

AND\

I was, "Well just a 1.6 SOHC, lets go for a test drive"

ANd the Del sol guy, by the way his name is Brook goes: "dude F***K no man, "" and all he could do was laugh (of shame in front of his buddies).

NOW, every now and then he never never never revs the car whenever passin me by, RESPECT, yeah, at last from a Vtec del Sol driver giving full honors to a my humble 323 AKA (Honda Terror).

Peace

Hey! Just 'cause honda boi wee'd himself when you revved - don't mean it goes in the 'kill column'. When the boy gets the courage to race - do ya' get to post! Hrumph!

BTW: Sounds like a nice killer ride! :P

I know what you mean about the kill list. Thats the thing he refuses to. I have tried twice by following him but he makes any excuse like pulling over to check his tires or opens the hood to verify he has no radiator leaks. He will change the subject and ask how am I doing.

There is another Civic hatchback who also revs it when passing me by but ones I follow him to go for a test drive he would refuse and keep driving.

But its just damn great to see them sneak under the seat and just drive the other way with shame.

I love my 323, damn its so great, jajaja.

Sounds like it got pretty expensive for revenge on one car. Seriously I hope you did all that for yourself and not just something as petty as revenge.

All in all; I did it cause there is no better joy than to see the face of a ricer when been smoked by a Mazda 323. JAJAJA

I know my limits, BUT I know my buddy NOS too.
