MotorSportConnect.com *NOW OPEN*
Hello all.
MotorSport Connection, MotorSportConnect.com , is now open.
" The MotorSport Connection, also called "MotorSport" or "MSC" for short, is an organization dedicated to all aspects of car performance, modification, competition, exhibition, and discussion. Our goal is to provide a central location for car enthusiasts of all genres, ages, cultures, and types to meet and discuss, debate, and share with each other, as a means of learning a little more about each other and a little more about ourselves."
We basically designed this site to bridge the gap between American Muscle and Sports Compact, an idea which I'm sure will be controversial to some on this board. That doesn't mean we're crammin Supra taillights onto Camaros and so-forth. We're trying to provide a way for the domestics and imports to learn and feed off of each other. And there is a "debate" forum :-D I can see all of the import vs. domestic threads now...
We need to get the forums going, so if any of you want a "General" board or a Debate board, here's your chance.
Anyhow, check it out and let me know what you think. Also check out the intro video on the main splash page. It has my thirdgen in it as well as some other footage. I had to rush to complete it so it's not overly spectacular, but it gives you an idea of what we're doing.
If any of you would like your car to be featured in a video production (doughnuts, burnouts, races, etc.) shoot an e-mail to info@motorsportconnect.com . We (obviously) need more footage, especially daytime, and I'd love to see some more Proteges in our videos.
Please note that we're still working out some bugs with the site. If you come across problems shoot an e-mail to info@motorsportconnect.com .

That's *my* thirdgen, rather, referring to my 91 Firebird.
But make sure you do check out that video, I put in some sweet footage of A.J. doing some crazy doughnuts, slides, and so forth in his first-gen Pro.

Thanks guys!
A.J. and I have been working very hard to get the site going, and we still are as we iron out a few things and get new features up and running. We will be working on the site and on the forums every day, so make sure you check it out.
Some of you guys should help get our "Your Ride" board in the Sport Compact section going by posting pics and info on your Protege (or 323s, Miatas, Festiva's, etc....)

Sorry for the delay in response.
There is actually now a Members Rides section in which you can upload pictures directly, just say New Picture, add a caption, and that's it! You are welcome to use that. Alternatively, I could host the pictures for you if you become a member.
That is a freakin' awesome 'stang! Love the burnout pic!
