I saw the MTV true life on street racing last night. I was VERY happy they didn't go 'hi-rev tuner' and kept it real and followed true street racers with true performance cars.
btw, is the Integra/Civic/CRX really THAT popular? It's like every Joe racer and his buddies have one. Throughout the show all I see racing are one of those 3 cars.... Where are the domestic musclecars???
and what's up with all the bald heads?

I guess those cars are the norm and the fad in Cali...plus I think they might keep there heads shaved to keep cooler from the heat of Cali....I know thats why I did it when I was stationed down there

yeah that mtv true life street racer thing was on again tonight. they'll probably show it a half dozen times within the next week or so if you missed it. where those guys from san diego or anaheim? i could have sworn i saw an anaheim cop car in one of the shots, but a majority of the show looked like it was about san diego cops and racers. i've been on the receiving end of one of those "free vehicle inspections courtesy of the san diego police department".
as far as the bald heads, a LOT of people in san diego and cali in general shave their heads (especially the "gangsters" as they were referred to - with the orange civic hatchback). zuMP5 is right....it's also a nice way to keep cool in the summer. i buzz my hair in the summer.

If you watch closely when the female officer is looking at the guy-with-the-white-car's motor int he background there is a black or blue P5. I said to myself "I wonder if the owner is from protegeclub.com"
The only thing that I hate about some STUPID tickets is like:
The height of you car is 6 inches of the ground I will have to give you a ticket for that
Your headlight's center is shining above 42 inches
You've modified the intake filter (when you only put on a cone filter)

civic
almost like the quote forgot where i heard it "Its suppose to be hard if it wasn't everyone would be doing it" i think this goes for civic drivers its a very easy car to hook up bolt on 100 hp turbo kits carbon fiber everything body kits out the *** .. the proteges are alot harder . well my protege is anyway 93 lx .. it seems for body kits they only have a few the evo kit the jdm parts and custom kits .. for power it seems like theres a good amount for my car but other pros its limited .. so the crx integra civic del sol are very popular jon 93 lx
