Talking No Predictions, Just Opinions, Here!

I won't jump in with any predictions in a race, but will say that I always liked the MX-6. I still see many driving around town and I still think they look cool, even though they're not new anymore. They were good cars, evident by how many are still on the road...

By the way, just a point of random information: The MX-6 was built in the Auto Alliance International plant in Flat Rock, Michigan; the same place where they're currently making the 626, and where the Mazda6 will be built.

ProtegeMaster, the '91 MX-6 doesn't look that great. You're probably thinking of the sleeker looking ones that came out in '92 I think with the last one being produced as a '96 model. I always liked the look of them too.

first of all sweedenhouse you ARE a hater,I see it in your posts all the time...btw,I changed to white LED's they are legal....second I whooped his *** by a car length and a half....he started to get me off the line(had to be the extra torque) but as soon as I started to rev high in second(dont know the rpms,no tach in my dx ),I pulled hard on him, then when i shifted to third i pulled away and all he saw was tailights....again thx for your support guys..... -haters!

Hah no, I'm not a hater. I just like to get reactions out of people, and I cant help it if I say what's on my mind. I don't hold back what I have to say to spare someone their feelings. If someone has a ride that I think is sweet I'll compliment. If I see somehting that I think is crap, I let people know my opinion. And its just that my opinion. So if being able to freely express what I think and feel, makes me a hater, well then whatever, by your definition I guess I'm a hater.

Anyway congratulations on your win, but those washer lights are still rice.

Question You're Sure?

My understanding is that the MX-6 was, appearance wise, unchanged from 1990 to 1992. It was redesigned for the 1993 model year. Anyway, it is this particular model that I was talking about-- I like their looks. The '93-'97 MX-6 was okay, I guess, but I think it looked too much like a friggin' Ford Taurus. Too "bubble" looking, in my opinion. Yeesh...

Yes we are so happy for you that you defeated a car that is breaking down His car in good condition (which we all assumed) would have prolly beat you, but since he had an oil leak amongst other things, I would hope that you won

I have a 93 hatch sitting in my garage that I just built with a JDM H22a (Prelude Vtec) and a GReddy T4 Turbo pusing 16 lbs of boost. I could turn the boost down and eat your wittle 280Z all day long. We are just messing with you, but since you had to get all bitter and start dissing my car. What about your current car? Wanna run? My overweight POS Accord would rape your current car ALL DAY LONG.

geez....you spent tons of money on a car worth all of..wait lets see,my black book lists you at...ok here we go $2500...ok If I really want to beat your a$$,I'll go back and stick with the 280Z....John @ Z-Docs tells me he can swap in a Chevy 350 for about $1000....so $1000 for a good condition '78 280Z with no motor, about $1000 for the 350 with auto tranny, and another $1000 for the install...no turbo,no FI period, probably even less hp...but thats a total of $3000 for the whole job and I have a car that will run the 1/4 in 10 flat....but issuing challenges to a little 1.6L DX with any turbo...now that takes REAL brass *****

$3000 for a FI 350? haha Do you plan on doing any internal work at all? Or just go FI on the stock internals? That will last about a week I doubt your stock 280z could take my accord, I ran a 13.8 about a month ago, your 280z wont hit that without the V8 swap. I know the 280z has potential for a huge motor swap, but lets be realistic save your $3000 and soon to be blown motor and buy an LT1. As for my $2500 9 second hatch sitting there, blue book means nothing on a modded car, dumbass If people sold their cars for blue book I could prolly get your little 280z for less than the 93 hatch It takes brass ***** to talk about cars that you "had" and try to pick races with a overweight accord

oh wait, im sorry, I assumed you were going FI Even better, nice try with what you "heard" on another forum , but a stock 350 in a 280z aint gonna run 10's
