Ok, I was comming home from church, and this Mustang is up ahead atempting to bob and weave through traffic (Like a MP3 ). I drop it a gear, and catch up to him. He is in the center lane, and I move to the left to pass him cause he is stuck behind a van. I slow it down, cause the area (Dalworthington Gardens/Pantego) is known for speeding tickets. The Mustang pulls behind me, and starts riding my ***. So naturally I drop it, and start pulling away from him. He hits it too, and I stay the same distance from here. A few seconds later, I notice that I am pulling on him. I see the vehicle ahead approaching fast, so I slow down, and he zooms past, and proceeds to weave around some cars, and boy did that car lean. I thought he was gonna loose it. LOL! Yesterday I swapped out my dammaged Cam Angle sensor for a new one, and cleaned my K&N, and since then, my car has ran better than ever! I hit it, and I don't feel that dip that I used to feel around 5000 RPM. Anyways, I think something was up with that guy's driving.

was it a pony, or a real 'stang? pony's are easy to pull on. they're heavy, and they're not all that powerful imho. now, a real mustang, i don't bother because i know i'll lose ;D haven't tried sprayin on an 8 though, but i'm sure i'd still lose.

hey linuxninja....where'd ya get the Japan spec FS-ZE engine??!! I've been looking into them but I can't find a place that'll sell one with low mileage and with history. All the places I've been are pretty sketchy. Also, did ya do the whole overhaul yourself or did ya take it to a garage? Cuz really, a 170 hp plant vs the stock 130 is a pretty nice improvement.

I got my engine from Corksport . Here are all the details you need:

You will not see the full potential unless you do some tuning.

What year of the 6 mustang

99-up 190hp automatic run in 16's, but 5 speed run 15.7-15.3.
94-98 150 hp automatics run like in 17's - 16.9, 5 speed run like 16.5.

Will also spin/chirp 3rd gear quite nicely.
A friend of mine got one for her graduation present. Nothing spectacular but I was pleasantly surprised.
I heart Mustangs.
