Well for all those who care my Protege is almost finished! Well for now I'm still driving the family junk-car; an '88 Honda Accord with like 275k miles and a horrible clutch. With this car of course I am easy on it to make it last, but the other day I just had to see what it had. This big Dodge truck, probably a Dodge Ram or somethin', was like going by me and slowing down and going by me again messing around with me. It had to have straight pipes on it because it was really LOUD. Well I could tell it was an automatic and that it couldn't be all that fast. We get up to a light and I look over to see him in the "Ima bas-***" position with her girl in the passenger seat. I decided... what the hell lets see what this Accord has. So the light turns green and I go all out to see him fall way behind. I think to myself... he probably wasn't trying. So then shortly after we get stopped at another light. We sit there for a good while and I hear getting his engine reved up and ready to go. So then the light turns green and I go hard again and AGAIN I beat by the time I'm half-way through second gear he's a good 2 carlengths behind. I eventually slow down to look over and laugh at him as he goes by. He looked pretty pissed, and I think his girl was laughing at him too! That made my day a bit brighter as I was on my way to work.

 

Thank god for beating a Dodge.
