put it on the table

Ok guys here is the scoop. I drove for an hour to get Matty to help me with my header install on Wednesday. Things got a little hairy for a second but it was nothing that Matty and I could not handle. Well after the install we did a test drive and I did not feel any gain. I have to admit I was a little pissed and disappointed. Well I proceeded on my journey home that night. I got lost in B'ham trying to get back to the freeway. I asked a cop for directions and soon found my way back to the freeway. Well as I was getting back on the on ramp there was some headlights bearing down on me. They had fog lights and it really resembled a late 90's maxima setup or a mid 90's Infinity. Needless to say I stabbed it at 40mph in second gear. The lights kept bearing down on me, and I began to think what does this maxima have in it to keep pulling like this. Well to my surprise it was not a Maxima, it was a Mecury Marrauder. And the reason why I am telling this is because the rate that he was pulling on me was not that great. I actually had enough time to look in his car and say a few words if I wanted to. This header is good because when I looked down at the speedometer I was doing 80mph and we were going up a hill the whole time. The distance that we raced was not long at all so I knew that my car was faster. 80mph is not impressive but for going up a hill and for the short distance we went that is good! Now my car easily breaks 110mph and I mean EASILY! Go to the next thread to see what happened later that week when I got back home.
