Well today I got a pleasent surprise. My neighbor, who I sold my '93 DX to came to my door today and asked me if I wanted to race. So of course I said, "sure." The car I sold him was pretty much stock performance-wise, besides the K&N air filter and muffler w/glasspacks. Me, him, and is friend, who was going to start us, headed to this long straight road near our houses. We decided to race from one point to the next driveway, which I would say is probably near 1/8 of a mile. On the first run his friend went to the point where we were going to finish... just in case it was close or something. Since we couldn't see him very well I said I would count 1.. 2.. 3.. and go. So I the first run he almost stalled the car out and I killed him. I drove back and he said he wanted to go again. This time his friend stood in front and between our cars to signal us to go. We had a dead even start and I just left him. I would say I beat him by a good 2 1/2 ca lengths. I think selling that car and buying the LX was a good decision.
