Ram Air TA....smoked
I know i'm not a protege owner, but i AM a car enthusiast, and i like to race also, so here goes.....
Not too long ago, cruisin' down 39th, i pull up to a red light, and this Black ram-air TA pulls up next to me. The driver looked to be my age or so (21), and he looks over to me and kinda revs his car causing his TA to "jump" a few inches. I reved mine a few times back, and he gives me this "whatever" look. ( I get that alot, since my Z is an '87). The light turned green, and we both took off. He stayed with me untill, oh.......untill i shifted to 2nd gear, then i put about 1-1 1/2 cars on him. By the time we were (or i should say I WAS) coming up to the next light, about 1/2 mile down the road, i'd already put about 6-7 cars on him. He pulled back up to me at the light, and motioned for me to pull into the Texaco across the street. I followed him, and then me and my girl, and he got out and started talkin'. He asked were i had the work done to my Z, and i gave him a business cards to the shops that did the work for me when i was stationed in texas, and he said he was actually thinkin 'bout driving down there to have his car worked on. He seemed really cool, and didn't give me a hassle about my car like the ricers do. All in all, it was fun, and we exchanged numbers, so we can go for another run after he gets some mods, since all he had at the time was exhaust. Lookin' forward to it .
