the laser told the truth

My protege is a dx model and it does not matter what model it was they are all 2.0's in 2003. Unless you are thinking I may have had an mp3 and they are really no faster. But anyway, yeah this is kind of disturbing we did not expect him to run that fast either but he is a good driver. My friend in his 87 crxsi would get beat by about three car lengths when I raced him. But when the owner of the cavy got behind the wheel of the crx he was about 1 1/2 car lenghts behind consistently. So it is confirmed he is a good driver. But he still beats me in my pro on the street with his cavy all the time. This cavy is fast! So it is not the laser it is accurate. This is one of the best 8th mile tracks in the U.S. Some os the fastest proffessional drag racing times have been run here. The track is not much to look at but it is a fast one. Not all tracks are the same, some hook up better than others and all kinds of variables. What is your si running in the 8th? And what does your pro run in the 8th with those particular mods.(protito and the civic si guy).

Ever driven one? Ever driven one HARD? I have. If you don't know what torque steer is before driving one of these monkeys, you sure will afterwards. Sure, it's at least four grand cheaper than a WRX. But, it needs AWD to be livable. I can only imagine what a handful the thing is with 300hp on tap. The one I drove made 230hp.

But, who says the next car has to be fast and cheap? How about just F-A-S-T? A slightly used BMW 3-series sounds good. So does a WRX, which sells in the high teens in this area with just a couple of oil changes on its odometer. Both are much more substantial cars than the Neon SRT-4. Both have much more sophisticated handling. Both are slower in a straight line... but if going fast in a straight line is all that matters, go buy a Mustang!

Smart man, but don't forget that they can go around corners too! The Mustang can be ANYTHING your heart desires. That is why iit is so popular and is such a great car/package.

maybe around your area they get smoked but come up to cincy and see what runs the streets around here and would probably run the streets down there because i know at least 3 mustangs off hand that are making over 1000 whp and are on the streets all the time and i like mustangs probably my favorite car and you say theirs so many of them because its a good looking car and easy to make power with on a budget just .02

Well at my work we got a '03 saturn ion with the 2.2 ecotec engine. The cars just at a cold comp was running 225psi compression and it was N\A. Ecotec Engines are good and parts for those engine are cheap and avilable
