How about some sig limits?

Haven't seen this brought up but I know it has to bother some of the dial-up users. There are a few people on the board with signatures listing mods close to 20 lines long. Do we need to know you have your windows tinted on every single reply? And future mods... Gimme' a break! Some people also utilize animated gif's that are over 150k in size. Can a limit be set to about 80k? It makes browsing for legitimate information or conversation difficult sometimes.

I appreciate the space to rant...

Actually most of the people around here are pretty decent about sigs but have you seen the arrogance at the corvette forums? Check the sigs some of these guys have. And I would consider this a conservative thread...

oh man, that was FUNNY rodslinger. You got my vote for POTY (Post of the Year)......

But you have a very good point. I was at my friend's house, he's got a 56k modem, and it took a LONG time to get all the stuff from one thread downloaded. I could see how some of the modem users could get discouraged because they'd have to wait.

80kbs is more then reasonable. I'd actually say 60kbs is plenty.
