Alabama SCCA Autocross Sunday 9/23
I can't speak for my co-driver, but I had a blast at the last event. Last 2 times I've been down there, they had a 70 sec course, and this last time a 67 sec course. And 6 runs. And even stopping for close to an hour for dinner, I was home by 8:30 east coast time.
Per the www.alscca.org website:
We normally try to follow this schedule for our events. Local conditions may alter this schedule.
7:00 Gates Open
7:30-9:00 Registration
8:00 to 9:00 Tech Inspections
9:00 Registration Closes
9:00-9:15 Devotional
9:15 Driver’s Meeting
9:45 Workers on Course
10:00 Start Timed Runs
5:00 Trophy Presentation
5:30 Clean Up
SOLO events are held at the Birmingham Race Course
1000 John Rogers Dr.
Birmingham, AL 35210
I'll most likely be leaving from Duluth @ 6:30. 2.5 hour drive, gain an hour, puts us there around 8:00 AM. Enough time to un-load, register, tech, etc. If y'all want to meet up somewhere and caravan down that'd work

Basically: 20 to 459N. Left @ first exit (Derby road), right at the dead end, left into the next entrance.
