he's alive he just finished up a groups buy on another forum here is his post over there to give you an idea of what he has been up to:
Hey guys, I wanted to come back on here personally and let you all know what happened with everything.
Bizzy/my wife are right. I started a new job a few weeks back and have logged 172 hours on this first paycheck. For those not so good with math I worked 11.5 hours every day for the past 2.5 weeks. I was at work before anything opened and still at work after everything closed. In 2.5 weeks I had (1) 1 hour lunch break and that was the original trip to SPEC for the clutches.
SPEC was shut down for 2 weeks without anyone there telling me anything. I had no calls, emails, nothing from them and had no clue what was going on. I finally got a hold of them and they told me the flywheels were delayed. I picked everything up all on the same day (a day after I said I would). I spent several hours at night past 1am packaging and addressing 13 boxes. I dropped them off at the P.O. the next day. While I'm at work I get a call from my wife saying SPEC called and they gave me the wrong parts. I had to leave work (unpaid) and go to my local P.O. (about 200yards from my house). They told me the boxes were on their way to the HUB and I could catch them there. I drove 40 miles into downtown B'ham to go get them all and bring them back home. SPEC is already closed at this time and I couldn't get off work on such short notice to handle it the next day. My wife ended up taking them down for me (she's taken off work unpaid now). The boxes all had to be opened and inspected ruining all of the packaging I had done. The problem was 2 clutches and both flywheels were wrong. The guy loading my car picked up the wrong units off the bench. I got them home and stayed up all night re-addressing and packaging everything.
Saturday morning (my first off day) I woke up @ 7am to cart 450lbs of clutches down the street to the P.O.
I know how it is to be burned on the internet. I don't EVER want to be "that guy". Truth be told I've got a LOT of work I'm backlogged on. I've got stuff to powdercoat that hasn't been done in months. The honest truth is that I can't afford to miss work or choose side work over my regular job. I don't ever charge anyone much more than just what it costs me in materials for stuff so if it takes me a while to get it to you I'm sorry.
For those that don't know I'm a manager of a big auto parts store here in B'ham and in my first 2 weeks with the new company I've had to run 3 different stores and re-learn my entire job. I know it doesn't help you guys get your parts any faster but I just didn't want you to think I was stiffing y'all on purpose.

I've been slammed. I'm able to get on right now because I'm running a warehouse that has a solid internet connection. I'm going to make a new thread for anyone who needs to get anything from me.
