Wow, it's been almost a year since I was on here, it's good to be back.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that we're going to be getting a meet together April 15th up in huntsville. We should have a really good turnout of proteges and 3's, and with any luck we'll be having some rotaries show up too. The plan for the day is to basically just hang out, talk, get to know new people, get some food and take pictures later on and possible head out to the local 1/8th mile track.

and lol, that track is the first place i ever dragged a car!

 

i'll try to make it as well. ....this is a little close to the big Cheaha meet though so it may deter some folks from going to both.

 

The preliminary plan is meeting up at the hooters on Memorial in Huntsville, eat some lunch, then head out to take some pictures and hang out somewhere in the area. The initial plan was to go to that big mall on the west side of Memorial, but I dont know how I feel about that. Might be hot, maybe we could go to a park or something around there that has adequeate parking. Huntsville guys, any ideas?

Ok guys i have a more definite plan now. We're going to be meeting up at the Hooters on University (4730 N.W. University, Huntsville) at about 1 PM. After we get our eat/drink on, we'll head out to a park or another cool photo op spot and have a mini detailing session to get the road grime off. After we take pictures, we'll see what happens. Everyone might decide to go home, but I would be up for putt-putt/gokarts/whatever people in Huntsville do for fun.

i'm assuming this was a no go because of the weather. i was in huntsville all weekend, and never saw a mazda the 3 times i drove past hooters. and matty never called me bad matty!

I grew up in Huntsville. Well till at least the 5th grade but I still have family down there. I woulndn't mind going down there one weekend to see my family. So if I were to head down there I'll let everyone know and maybe we could all meet up.
