S.E. Mazda Meet 2005.5

S.E. Mazda Meet 2005.5
Cheaha State Park, AL.
This is a great location for this as it is not only closer to our georgia bretheren it is out in the middle of nowhere with a butt load of curvy roads. This is another "weekender". Bring a tent, bring a cooler, bring an aim-n-flame for those pesky fires that never stay lit. Some of the details are listed here. This will provide you with directions, camping fee's, rules, attractions, etc.
http://www.alapark.com//parks/park.cfm?parkid=7
PRICES
Fri-Sat-Sun Pavillion space will be $120
Campsites (up to 8 people) will be $17.60/night
I will again provide my huge tent for people who are without (no more sleeping in cars!).
Now for the critical part:
DATES
July 29,30,31 (no'one else booked anywhere in the park)
These date gives us PLENTY of time to plan to make this event and promise that we'll have another great turnouot. I have parking and seating for 50-ish. And that should be plenty.
I promise no more mexican coup de tats and I'll actually finish cooking the ribs this time.
Based on the problems from the last meet I'm going to be asking upfront for $10 per person that wishes to attend. This will cover pavillion rental and most food/drinks. You are always encouraged to bring your own food and drinks but I can't afford to pay for the rental space every year so I'm asking for some help. Please select your prefered date and sign up with your name below.
Thanks,
Matty

Barry, we may be able to get in a few dyno runs while you're here....if there is enough interested we may even do a caravan out to the dyno and have a small dyno day. Gotta see what kind of turn out we're looking at this time.

9. Karen & Scott (tentative)
I actually voted for the #6 date, since it's farther away and I'd have more time to plan. However, July 15 & July 29 are possibilities as well, since I'll be on the new schedule and have those Fridays off anyway. I just have to make sure that there aren't any local shows I have to hit..you know...keep the sponsor happy and all that.
This looks to be a 13 hr drive according to MapQuest and might be a fun long weekend drive from Okie-homa.

13hours according to mapquest isn't bad at all. Mapquest predicted 13hours from my house to the top of Ohio. With some carefull planning I was ale to make it in 9.5 hours. The trick is to leave at like 9pm or so and drive through the night when there is no traffic, construction or police.
