It's not bad. We are from Los Angeles, so we are used to big city. We also don't live as close to the beach as most, and they usually have better opinions of the area.

Most people love it.

Yeah, but 15 min to the beach is a lot better than living in central texas, 4 hours from the coast.
Where at do ya'll live? My inlaws live on James and Folly Island, they are seperated.
Anyway, wiss it tons.
Like I have told the others if you have in Q's about the place let me know. One thing I would recommend, go see the Hunley!! It is at the old Navy base. That is pretty slick.

I live 15 mins north of North Charleston. I live about 40 mins from the beach. It would be nice to be closer. Granted, it is better than 4 hours.

What is in Ladson? Did ya'll find a nice house? We lived on Dorchester for a while, that was closer in and still near the AFB.
We will probably look in Mt. Pleasant, N. Charleston, or on James Island when we come back. There is so much history there, I hated history in HS and college, but now I am intrigued by it.
Anywho.
Later.

I hate Texas, and we want to be back there but the main reason is something else I can't get into.

Never spent any time in Texas, other than flying into various airfields there during UPT

Though, if it's anything like Oklahoma, I can definitely understand
