Bay Area Memmbers: Sept 4th Air show/Car show-n-shine
Some of you may remember me from a long time ago, i got together and Hosted a Dyno day over at Apex Motorsports in Santa Clara, CA. a few years ago with the Contour/ Cougar Club.
Well, after a long time away, im back, but this time it is for charity.
On Sept. 4th, my car club, Koolstangs.net, will be hosting a show-n-shine at the watsonville airport the day of the airshow...We will be parking on the tarmac.
its only 20 dollars per car, but that gets you and all your passangers into the airshow at no additional charge (nomally it is 15 per person for non-carshow attendies).
the money goes to the pilots association that helps keep the independent pilots coming to this show, as well as local charities like Jacobs heart for children with Cancer.
Please read below for more info as well as a link to directions. As far as i am aware also, there is no reg form becasue it is a show and shine, so just show up and pay 20 bucks to park. There may be a liability waver at the show you may have to sign.
Thanks everyone,
Lupe
p.S. Please pass this info to other local sites as this is for all make and models cars.

OK everyone, its that time of the year for the annual Watsonville Fly-In. This year Koolstangs will be hosting a Show-n-Shine. All makes/model cars are welcome, this is not limited to american cars, so please pass the word.
Planes that will be there:
2 A-10 Warthogs
2 F-18's
4 harriers
2 C17 Globemasters
1 AC-130
Blackhawks/Seahawks
P-51 Mustangs
Corsairs
All the above planse i believe will be in flight at some point during the airshow. also, most of the cargo planes and helicopters will be open for tours on the ground.
All cars need to be there no later than 0900 (9am) Carshow admission is a 20 dollar donation per car. Any passangers you carry are free admission into the carshow/airshow. Cars that show up after 9am must be turned away due to FAA regulations and rules (have to follow their timeline)
This is also a screaming deal as normally just the airshow is 15$ per person admission..
Reminder, we are parking on the Tarmac next to the planes, so we are bound by FAA rules in that once you park on the tarmac, vehicles may not be moved until the end of the air show..please remember that.

We look forward to seeing you guys their:
And remember pass the word to any other clubs that may want to attend...Doesn't matter if they are import or american.
