I'm interested to see if I can do any better than the 17.8s (17.2 corrected for altitude) I was doing last year, now that I have a better engine, header, and turbo muffler.

Its 9pm and I'm still in Lancaster finishing the car. I don't think I'm going to make it tonight. Sorry for all that came to see the car. If you guys want to meet up again on a friday or again on a weds I'll make my schedule work. I'll post the dyno results as soon as I get home if the connection is up.

I took 8 runs. My last one was the fastest. There was a slight breeze (10-15mph) running across and slightly down the straight. Temps were in the high 50's-low 60's.
60 foot - 2.379 sec.
330 ft. - 6.875 sec.
1/8 mi. - 10.643 sec.
1/8 spd- 65.174 moh
990 ft. - 13.850 sec.
1/4 mi. - 16.753 sec.
1/4 spd - 79.746 mph
I just couldn't crack 80 mph, although I did get one 79.983mph.
Corrected for altitude, the numbers are 16.215@82.378mph. Not too bad an improvement.

Thats a good improvement over your last showing at LACR. I wish I could have run against you guys. We finally got the car all pieced together around 10pm and I took it for a spin down the street..... OMG it HAULS some serious ***, and only at 7psi. I'd estimate around 220whp right now. After a few 3 gear passes doing 80mph in a short length we found a coolant leak that sprung on me under the throttle body.
I'm about to head back to the shop to fix the leak and dyno tune the car. As of right now it feels like a mid 13 second car at altitude and with more boost it will feel even stronger. I will have to make it to the strip soon to prove our products soon.
Thanks for all that showed (will, david, mx-3 guy). As always we will try to reschedule and get more people up there. It sucks because I'm on vacation and that was my free day....but we'll get there!

I'm heading up there tomorrow night to see how we did. We managed to put down about 203whp and 200lb-ft at 7psi with some good pull to 7000rpm.
I just got my boost controller so we'll see what she's got.

****, i just read this now, 7:30pm....but i'm still in the same boat, my car is not drag ready at all, it's got a bad oil leak and the pass. axle is pretty noisey...Jenni has been working late this week, so i can't even get the Jetta before 8pm...if it's going to break racing, it will be for points!!!!!
my appologies for not showing, (head hung low in shame)

Results
Out of a total of 15 runs I managed to form some consistency. The track was very slick, it was on and off light rain so I had a bit of a time controlling the car.
Run 1:
Reaction: 1.122 (They left it on pro tree)
I1: 2.307 (60')
I2: 6.273
I3: 9.369 79.686mph
I4: 11.980
E.T: 14.308 @ 99.757 (13.84 @ 103.11mph corrected)
Run 2:
Reaction: .552
I1: 2.312 (60')
I2: 6.226
I3: 9.329 80.103mph
I4: 11.942
E.T: 14.269 @ 100.034 (13.81 @ 103.40mph corrected)
The rest of the runs were consistent 14.53, 14.55, 14.57, 14.65, all at 99 or 100mph. These are uncorrected times. The car feels good at 8psi, with some good weather and better launches I can get the 13's uncorrected before I up the boost.

Pretty good times. I guess I would stay with you for about 300 feet. If I could get a comparable reaction time.
Don't you just hate it when they forget to reset from the pro tree. Happened to me once on Wednesday, following a 9 sec, 140mph Chevy.
But I think the correction factors are more applicable to NA cars. Until you reach the limit of the turbo, you aren't losing any HP at 2700 ft (as opposed to NA cars which are down about 9.5%).
