Pro owner here, not a P5, but a 98 1.5L. I've also seen lots of Pro's in SD, all Gen's included. It would be cool for the SD Proteges to get together and talk shop too!

Good luck w. your P5 badboyeee!

not form SD, but close enough, only 1.5hrs away.....must have been a sale on P5's in SD , as in HB P5s are quite rare, see maybe 1 or 2 a month, have never seen an MP3, but i see 1st gens all day long....

Silver Pro right here! 99 ES with dark tint is what I ride.

SDRob, I'd be up for a San Diego meet. I bet there are a bunch of us on this board. Let's do it!

I'm up in North County. Escondido to be exact. I got a Silver 2001 Pro ES, dark tint, B&G springs, AEM intake, Magnaflow exhaust, and a few other things. Let's try to set something up...

Hey I think there is an autocross at Qualcomm on 4/27. That would be pretty sweet, tho it costs $40 and you have to have a helmet.

Hey gang. I'm chilling down here in sunny Mission Valley with a silver P5 and I've checked out the scene at the Q for autocross. It's pretty cool. Take a look at the website below for more information... There's an AutoX coming up this weekend on Sunday. They'll provide you with a helmet if you don't have one. I think the racing fee for non-SCCA drivers is $25. Last time I was out there, I met a guy from Nevada who was racing his yellow P5 in the stock class. The course is set up so that you don't need to have the fastest car out there. You just need to be the fastest driver out there! HAVE FUN!

What's up everyone,

I'm also in the San Diego area. I have a 99 pro lx. I think it would be great to hook up with pro owners. Let me know, I'll be ready.

Talking

Hey everyone!

San Diego Protege owner here (well, Lemon Grove to be exact). I have a '99 Classic Red ES 5-spd with dark tint. You may have seen a red blur racing down the freeways... yep, that was probably me...

I would love to get together with other Pro owners! Let's set something up!!

Here's a message from me in the Socal Meet thread:

Hey Everyone!

Let's definitely do something on Memorial Day!

I have compiled a list of of the Southwest members. We all seem to be in California and the furthest north is in central California. The list is sorted by furthest distance from San Diego and then by name for those in the same city. Here's the list:

Code:
Name Location Distance Car
protejay Socal ?? 91 LX
zenilder Socal ?? 92 DX
jay93dx Visalia 305 93 DX
turboge Canyon Country 155 ??
Davard Encino 139 90 LX
Joe Rosales Chino 115 02 P5
mazdaspeedwest Huntington Beach 93 90 LX
mlight13 Escondido 31 01 ES
badboyee San Diego 0 02 P5
dialup San Diego 0 99 ES
jstand6 San Diego 0 99 ES
SDRob San Diego 0 98 DX
silverblt San Diego 0 02 P5
slikpro San Diego 0 99 LX
Well, if we had a vote of everyone, something tells me we'd be having the meet in San Diego.

However, that wouldn't be fair. A few people mentioned beach. It just happens that Ventura is just about right smack in the middle between San Diego and Visalia. It's 188 miles from San Diego and 191 miles from Visalia. That would make a really nice meet... nice and temperate, beautiful beaches, and a fun drive for everyone on the way (Pacific Coast Highway for southern dwellers, HWY 126 for northern dwellers). What do you guys think?

Let me know...

We would all love to have a California meet, but I would gladly go to a San Diego meet. We have 7 members that are from San Diego County. This could easily be done.

I'm pretty busy trying to set up the California meet, but if you could start putting plans together for a San Diego meet, I'll be there!

BTW, not next week though. My Pro will be up at Injen in Pamona getting their intake fitted and tested.

I am a San Diego dweller and I have a blue MP3. I love it! Just rolled over 10,000 miles.
