Cost for dyno time?
#3
Thanks Jeff, anyone else. I'd like to have a good general idea what a fair price is. Also, do most place charge based on the number of runs, or time? If it's the number of runs, do they have a time limit that they must be completed in? If not, I imagine you could go and take up most of the day testing different mods. I don't they'd let you do that.

i called this one place awhile ago and i think it was $100 for 3 runs or an hours worth if you were going to try different tuning set ups. Although i'm sure after a few calls i could find one for $50-60.
I will be going tomorrow for $40 for 2 runs, but this is an organized DYNO-DAY, so it's much cheaper.
Try to find a car club in your area (any club, hondas, nissans, etc) and see if they have Dyno-Days or have a contact for good pricing.

Swat performance Lancaster CA
At Swat Performance in Lancaster CA he charges $100 an hour for dyno tuning.
I used up over 3 hours while tuning the Turboge, but he was cool and only charged for 3.
Using a mustang dynomometer and a wideband o2. He has specials on thursday nights.
