Meet idea for August

Meet idea for August
Well due to popular demand we gotta have another meet next month. The 9th isn't so bad but I think we run into issues with having things on a Saturday. Friday night seemed to have worked out really well. We could do another BBQ if you want or something different. One thing we have to do different we need to plan our cruise a bit better I guess, (especially the part about the rent a cop) Anyway any ideas? BBQ seemed to work well as it was quite cheap. Don't know if you want to go to Como again or someplace else.

MazdaMP3ShiftR: Check you PM.
As for meets, what your planning sounds good, the only thing we'd have to watch out for are cops, esspecially in a more highly populated and visibale location, that's what was nice about the backrounds, not too many people.

I think a cruise around lake calhoun just for showing off purposes would be cool and then perhaps stake out some backroads for some more autox type driving. I am still smiling from our last meet and can't wait to do another one. I plan on having some more mods done to my car by then including the taking off of my altezzas, haha. I think Eibachs and a carbon fiber hood are on deck. Anyway, keep us informed on the Aug. meet. Peace.

By then, I'll have the RB springs and the MP3 spoiler. Working on getting a turbo, tried on Sat. for two on ebay, but I was too anxious on the first and too late on the second, so, I'll try again soon. Hopefully I'll be ready in 6 months. I'm also looking for the side sills, and rear valance of an MP3 (laser blue, less to paint), and the sedan front lip.

I think that the 15th is the date. We'll need someone to scope out the area. I don't live nearby and I'm not familiar with calhoun or Minnetonka. I think that Calhoun (or maybe Nikomis) is a bit closer then Minnetonka for most of us. Anyway we need a place with grills (for BBQ!) And we should figure out who's bringing what.

We usually go to Staring Lake Park (in EP) for MNSC. We also usually get 100+ cars there and there's space to grill if you bring one. I haven't really been far away from the parking lot but I'd assume there's more.
As far as the city of Eden Prairie goes, I believe we're fine as we don't put up a tent. Usually a squad rolls through every hour or so to make sure things okay.
Either way, I'll be driving down from Duluth so I don't care if it's an extra 20 minutes.
