Please help me Minneapolis!!

Ok Minneapolis and St. Paul Protege owners! I need yo help please!

I recently visited one of my favorite American cities, (Minneapolis)
and watched a wicked awesome Wild game. (You guys have the best fans I've ever seen since the good ol' Jets days.)
Anyway, My dad and I loved the game so much that we HAVE to come back for a playoff game.

Im trying to plan a trip to come see either the first or second game of the Playoff's when they start and I need some help.
The tickets do not go on sale to the general public untill April 7th. at 10 AM.
The chance of me getting any tickets is slim to nill so Im trying to call in favors from a few people I know up here who know how to get "advance" tickets.
Do any of you know a way for me to get tickets or happen to know someone who has them and cant make it? I will pay extra for the effort! (Im going to need as many tickets as I can get)

The other thing I need help with is planning my trip. I want to stay in Fargo the first night and St. Paul the second night. I need to know where I can get the best rates for hotels, and where a good place is to go for food. (places cheap and close by the Xcel Energy Centre, like a Super 8 or something like that.)

I really want to make this trip happen so if anyone can help me out with just a little info, or maybe some miracle idea about tickets I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for your help.

P.S: Ill bring some good Canadian beer down for anyone who can help out! 6% baby!!!

Thumbs up

I don't know about the tickets, but I can ask around. For food, there is The Wild Tymes, off of St. Peter on 7th, and Cossettas 651.222.3476 off of Kellog and Exchange.

I went to Wild Tymes last time I was there, that place had great wings.

Any idea of a nice, good priced hotel in St. Paul?
I dont mean to sound too cheap but our dollar is worth less than toilet paper.

I'd say to check www.twincities.com, or hotel websites like www.bestwestern.com or www.super8.com. I really don't know of any hotels in St. Paul, I live just N of Minneapolis, and when ever someone comes to visit, they stay near Roseville.

For some reason, the links to the websites included the puncuation, so the link won't work, you'll have to copy/paste or delete the punctuation from the address bar.

Most of the places that are actually "in" St. Paul are pretty expensive. I'd check out places in either Roseville (just north of St. Paul) or Bloomington (down by the airport). Both are less than 10 minutes away from Xcel.
Restaurants: Snuffy's Malt Shop on Lexington & Larpenteur, in Roseville (dirt cheap burgers, fries & malts, but really really good), or Gabe's By The Park, Lexington & Energy Park Drive (sports bar, great atmosphere, good-looking waitresses & great food).
Can't help with the tickets, sorry. Those things disappear pretty quick.
BTW, you should come back down in June for Mazda Rev It Up!
